The Oscars 2017: La La Land Wins Big
First things first: Is Warren Beatty for real? Has old-age gotten the better of him or did he purposely create havoc at the 89th Academy Awards by incorrectly naming La La Land as Best Picture recipient? Despite the mix up of Steve Harvey proportions La La Land still walked away with 7 statues.
Jimmy Kimmel was on-point as host and had the audience in stitches with his borderline-offensive sense of humor.
My two favorite wins of the evening went to Casey Affleck for his role as Lee Chandler in the picturesque Manchester By the Sea and Viola Davis for her role in Fences.
All in all it was a palatable show with the ladies looking glam and the gents looking handsome, Next stop - the IHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday, 05 March 2017.
