Jono Johansen Releases Killer Single!
He might not have made it to the finals of The Voice South Africa but 19-year old Jono Johansen recently dropped a single so hot it is bound to heat up the airwaves before long.
"Cracks in the Pavement" was released on 22 July 2016 and is an authentic representation of the brilliant talent possessed by this young artist.
Penned by Jono himself the song is an euphonic masterpiece which entrancingly showcases his musical prowess.
The lyrics tells a tale so hauntingly beautiful and undeniably sad which, when paired with Johansen's extraordinary vocals leaves one feeling both irrevocably touched and passionately inspired. Heartache and unrequited love is a journey we all embark on at some stage and the emotion evoked in me personally while listening to this beaut of a song left a trail of tears streaming down my face.
Jono is an old soul trapped in a youthful (and very handsome) and marketable package. His musical maturity speaks volumes and his every performance overflows with undeniable passion.
The music video to "Cracks in the Pavement" was released on 1 August and is beautiful simplicity as its best.
If his first single is anything to go by Johansen has a very bright and illustrious future ahead of him.
