American Idol XV: Meet the Top 14
The swan song season of American Idol is flying past way too fast. We are already down to our Top 14 contestants and in a blink of an eye the winner will be announced on 7 April.
There were a few shocking omissions from the Top 14, with Kory Wheeler probably being the one contestant I thought was a shoo-in. I think the decision to advance Manny Torres ahead of Wheeler, CJ Johnson and Adam Lasher indicates poor judgment on the judges’ part with Torres going to have to perform miracles in order to shed his cannon-fodder image.
I was also terribly disappointed that Amelia Esienhauer did not proceed to the Top 14 - out of the teenage girls she was definitely one of the strongest!
