Judges Reunite for American Idol Swansong
Season 15 of American Idol is bringing on the sentiment with Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell - who made up the series’ judging panel for eight years - reuniting for the final season. American Idol host Ryan Seacrest told Access Hollywood “I’ve spoken to all of them recently, and we as a team have talked to them about coming back to do something for the final season. They are going to do it, it’s just a matter of figuring what to do with them.” As the original judging panel started to depart one by one the network brought in celebrity judges such Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Steven Tyler, Ellen DeGeneres, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr. Although fun was had by most not everybody had a good time with Carey saying that her time on the show was "the worst experience of my life." While a judges' reunion seems both daunting and intriguing no mention has been made of Kara Dioguardi who served as a judge during seasons 8 and 9.
