The Voice South Africa: Judges Revealed
After much speculation and anticipation the judging panel for the first season of The Voice: South Africa has been announced.
South African songbird Lira is the first who will be taking a seat in a red chair.
The second judge is none other than South Africa's favorite blue-eyed boy, Bobby van Jaarsveld.
Karen Zoid will be taking a seat alongside Bobby and Lira!
The fourth judge is South African legend and Parlotones frontman Kahn Morbee!
Think you have all the makings of a star? Why not take the plunge and audition at one of the following venues:
Cape Town – Newlands Stadium on 17 & 18 October;
Durban – Kings Park Rugby Stadium on 25 & 26 October;
Johannesburg – Mark’s Park on 31 October & 01 November.
If you want to skip the long audition lines you can also submit a You Tube link of you performing a song to mnet.tv/thevoice. The selection team will fast-track some of the best hopefuls from these submissions to the front of the queue.
With a panel as promising as this and auditions to be held in all major cities one can't help but be optimistic about the latest Mnet talent show offering to hit South Africa. Will The Voice produce the next local superstar or will we follow in the footsteps of the USA and fail to launch any one person into stardom?
Who is your favourite judge? Will you be joining #teamBobby, #teamLira, #teamKaren or #teamKahn?
Stay tuned for more news leading up to the premier of The Voice: South Africa.
