Idols Exits: When Favorites Leave Too Soon
The current season of Idols South Africa has delivered more production flaws and shocking eliminations in 5 weeks than in the past 2 seasons put together! The group round was painful to watch but even more painful was the early elimination of one of my personal favorites. Proving to have one of the best voices during the auditions Josh Webber was one of many to fall victim to what seems like a huge production flaw. I got talking to Josh about his early elimination and his future plans. Saying your elimination was a shocker is putting it mildly! Did you expect to leave so soon in the competition? I have to be honest, I really was doing Idols for the fun just to see how far I could get. I really didn't expect to go to far as my music isn't really what they are looking for. But obviously I was hoping to make it futher but really happy I got to where I did. What is your fondest Idols memory? Any one thing that you will always remember? My fondest memory would have to be my first audition. I really had a lot of fun and it was cool seeing the judges enjoy what I do. I'm not sure whether you are aware of the fact that, apart from winning fans over with voice, you are being rated as quite a heartthrob. Have you received any marriage proposals yet? I have received a few marriage proposals but still I'm waiting for that special someone.. haha I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic. A question that everyone is dying to ask: Will you enter Idols again? I don't know if I'll enter Idols again I feel like Idols isn't the way I am going to get my music out there so I'm waiting for God to show me the way. Where to from here? What is the next step on your musical journey? I have recently been recording some new songs and will be posting them up soon. Hopefully I will get some exposure and we will see what happens. I plan to do music and that is not changing anytime soon.
