Nick Fradiani Wins American Idol
Nick Fradiani has won American Idol and in doing so has prevented the Idol gun to misfire 3 years in succession.
Clark Beckham (22), and Nick Fradiani, (29) were the last two contestants standing during Season 14 of the highly acclaimed American Idol. Beckham was an early frontrunner but started losing momentum just as Fradiani was gaining it.
During a two-part finale both finalists got to perform what would be their coronation singles in front of a packed Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
Fradiani’s single “Beautiful Life’ is already available for purchase through iTunes and will also be used as the anthem for Fox Sports' coverage of the FIFA Women's World Cup in June 2015
There is no reason why Fradiani won’t take the music industry by storm as he has all the makings of a star. Apart from his undeniable talent and good looks he also has a fiercely loyal fanbase that will support his career, something which is often terminated as soon as the competition ends.
It is ironic that the termination of American Idol was announced just days before the crowning of one of the most noteworthy winners the franchise has produced in years. Could Nick have been the saviour of the American Idol franchise?
Will we finally see a winner make it to stardom after two highly disappointing seasons? My obvious answer to both questions is a very biased ‘YES’ and I have an inkling that in 10 year’s time Nick Fradiani’s mantelpiece will boast a Grammy Award next to his American Idol trophy!
